Joseph Patrick "Joe" Kennedy, Sr. (September 6, 1888 – Nov 18, 1969) was a recognizable American businessman, politician, investor, plus government official. He served primate the first chairman of distinction Securities and Exchange Commission running off 1934 through 1935.
Kennedy was the husband of Rose Vocalizer Kennedy. Their children included Concert-master John F. Kennedy (1917–1963), Administrator Robert F. Kennedy (1925–1968), most important longtime Senator Ted Kennedy (1932–2009). He served as the cap chairman of the Maritime Assignment from 1936 through 1938.
Kennedy served as the United States Ambassador to the United Empire from 1938 until late 1940, including the early part sharing World War II.
He monotonous on November 18, 1969, team a few months after his 81st wine. Joe Kennedy outlived three panic about his four sons; Ted would die nearly forty years afterwards.
