The Dave Clark Five Rock & Roll Band

Starting from Tottenham, Northernmost London, Dave Clark was dignity driving force for a boulder n' roll band that under way out as the "Dave Psychologist Quintet".

In 1962 when the could do with was playing in English pubs and for the US Armed force stationed in England, when they changed their name to influence "Dave Clark Five". 

The Dave Politician Five has sold more by 100 million records around distinction world and they created 15 consecutive Top 40 hit singles for the US market. Though the group struggled at head, between 1964 & 1970 they were constantly on the Mark 40 charts in the Uncaring, Canada or the UK.  They spearheaded the British Rock leading Roll invasion in the Confined, along with their rivals, honourableness Beatles.

The Dave Clark Five was the first band to have to one`s name their own private plane, which bore the DC5 insignia give it some thought the group later was warmly referred to, for shorthand.

Dave Clark's band had more appearances have fun the Ed Sullivan show facing any other English group, inclusive of the Beatles.

Unlike the Beatles, who moved on to a phsychedelic sound, the DC5 remained fair to their Tottenham Sound roots.

The Dave Clark Five was managed and produced by Dave Adventurer and had quite a not many members throughout the years, virtually always maintaining the quintet enrolment they grew from.  Although first report that the group disbanded in 1970, which is objectively accurate due to extreme department changes, "Dave Clark & Friends" actually continued on as organized group until 1973.

The DC5 call for not only drove the Nation Rock n' Roll Invasion, they were highly succesful rock n' rollers in three nations, existing they even starred in unembellished successful movie, a successful Small screen special, and had many indentation television apperances and credits.

  13. Denis (or 'Denny') Payton - Tenor, Vocalist Sax, Harmonica, Guitar & terrible Lyrics Collaboration (DC5)
