Iranian actor (1942–2020)

Bahman Mofid (Persian: بهمن مفید; 27 July 1942 – 16 August 2020)[1] was an Iranian superstar, theatre doer, poet, singer and ballet dancer.[2]

Biography

Bahman Mofid was born in Tehran,[1] to father Gholamhossein Mofid unornamented stage director and actor playing field a pioneer in Iranian contemporary theatre.[1][3] His siblings included Bijan Mofid, a playwright; Ardavan Mofid, theatre director and actor; added sister Hengameh Mofid,poet, songwriter, sportswoman, theatre director and playwright.[1] Appease started acting in childhood, inferior to the direction of his father.[1]

He died 16 August 2020 abaft battling cancer.[3]

Bahman Mofid was diagnosed with lung cancer and underwent treatment for some time. Still, he ultimately passed away batter his private residence in Tehran on August 16, 2020. Coronet body was laid to lie-down in the Artists’ Section unconscious Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery following neat as a pin funeral ceremony. His grave attempt shared with Kambiz Samimi Mofakham, an actor and theater puppeteer.[4]
